Beck & Stein Books is a general bookstore with extensive fiction/non-fiction, history/political, and children's sections. "It is a smaller place, more sophisticated than the old Dumbwaiter, but still has a casual feeling," says Meers. Wine is a major focus of the restaurant. Cowboy Syd's features one of the most interesting and unusual wine lists in Tidewater, including over 30 wines by the glass.
